We have recently published two new case studies made by the GreenDelta team on the cradle-to-grave LCA of a hooded sweatshirt.

LCA of a hooded sweatshirt

“1 organic cotton 2XL hooded sweater, with a weight of 750g, used for 1 year”

This study has two intended goals. The first one is to identify the stages of the life cycle of the hooded sweater that contribute the most to its environmental impacts. The second one is to assess the variability of those impacts depending on the production site or the behaviour of the user.

The model is available for free. Ecoinvent v3.8 database is used as a background, therefore one requires a valid licence to obtain it.

Social LCA of a hooded sweatshirt

“1 organic cotton 2XL hooded sweater, with a weight of 750g, used for 1 year”

The goal of this study is to map the social impacts of the hooded sweater along its life cycle. This LCA focuses on the stakeholders Workers and Society. It also addresses the stakeholders Local community and Value chain actors to avoid burden shifting among different categories
