The Swiss Federal Administration LCI Database (BAFU) 2025 database is now available, for free.
The 2025 release contains 11747 LCIs in 176 categories including sectors such as construction, mobility, energy, metals, chemicals, paper, agriculture, food, consumption, and waste management. Processes are mostly unit processes. The database is provided in zolca format for openLCA users and in a modified ecospold V1 format for import in other LCA software (SimaPro, R).
The database is available in English language.
