EPDs are no longer just a ‘nice-to-have’, they are the currency of transparent sustainability. But transforming complex lifecycle data into a verified report that meets the EN 15804+A2 standard can be a significant bottleneck and expensive.
To facilitate this process, a two-day online training course is being offered by GreenDelta on 27-28 November (3 hours per day). During the course, we will show you the theory behind EPDs, and how to create an EPD with the openLCA software in a step-by-step manner, with the help of a case study.
Training Course Content:
- How an LCA model is built in line with the EN 15804+A2 standard
 - The interpretation and application of Product Category Rules (PCRs) and program operator requirements
 - Use of the EN 15804+A2 add-on database in openLCA
 - How biogenic carbon mass balance is correctly handled
 - How primary energy use indicators are calculated
 - The importing of EPDs from different sources and their integration into LCA results
 - Preparation of both the background report and the EPD report

By the end of this 6-hour workshop, you will have a practical workflow and the technical knowledge to produce credible, standard-compliant EPDs.
Who Should Attend:
- LCA Consultants
 - Industry Sustainability Managers
 - Product Managers
 - Applied Researchers

Prior knowledge of openLCA software is recommended. Access to the EN15804+A2 add-on database will be provided for the training.
