HiQLCD is the LCA database that reflects real, up-to-date Chinese industrial practices and regional variations. It contains comprehensive cradle-to-grave inventory data and enables a seamless integration with ecoinvent, allowing the modeling of mixed global-China supply chains in a single study. As the majority of products involve Chinese supply chains, HiQLCD delivers LCI data for credible and complete studies.
Database update
A little more than a year after its first release, HiQLCD is now available in version 1.4.0 on Nexus. The main updates include:
- Reached 80,000+ datasets with 3 allocation methods, 26+ sectors, 1,000+ products and 1,500+ technologies
- Addition of the allocation cut-off EN 15804 system model
- Optimization of water footprint-related indicators
- New datasets for electricity, steel, chemicals, PV, coal and waste treatment
